You’ve ordered your brand-new furniture, and now it’s time for the exciting part — getting it expertly built without lifting a single Allen key! At Home Flatpack, we make the entire process smooth, simple, and stress-free. Here’s exactly what to expect from start to finish.
Step 1: Get Your Quote
Once you’ve sent us your details, you’ll receive your flatpack installation quote by SMS and email — quick, clear, and commitment-free. From there, you can easily choose from three preferred dates for your assembly. We usually suggest booking for at least the day after delivery, to make sure everything’s arrived safely.
Step 2: Booking Confirmation
Once you’ve chosen your date, we’ll confirm your flatpack furniture installation and send you a friendly booking confirmation. Your installer will be scheduled to arrive between 8am and 5pm, or you can choose a two-hour time slot for a small additional cost.
Step 3: The Day Before
You’ll receive a handy SMS and email reminder the day before, just so you know we haven’t forgotten about you (we never do!).
Step 4: On the Day
Your installer will either call an hour before arriving or you’ll get an SMS update with an estimated arrival time — traffic depending. Before we arrive, make sure your flatpack boxes are in the room or area where you’d like them built, and that the area is clean, clear, and ready for assembly.
Our team is friendly and approachable, but please keep children and pets clear of the work area for safety.
Step 5: The Finishing Touch
Once everything’s assembled to perfection, your installer will walk you through the finished item. Take this opportunity to check everything is just as you’d like — it’s the best time to make any quick adjustments before we pack up and go.
